The Right Individual:

We are looking for a Junior Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack Engineer having experience in Java backend development, web frontend development, and a strong understanding of SQL.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and software building.

Should be a motivated individual enthusiastic to grow expertise in the domain of Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Visual IVR, and related enterprise integrations of the Contact Center Industry. Must be eager to learn and develop software skills in designing and developing Multi-Experience AI Bots.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Will be trained on the functional and technical aspects of Tetherfi’s products.
  • Will be trained & mentored to design & develop IVRs, Visual IVRs and enterprise application integrations.
  • Develop IVR & Visual IVR applications.
  • Develop custom Enterprise Integrations.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in IVR & Visual IVR technology.
  • Review code and enforce coding standards.
  • Set up and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines to streamline development workflows.
  • Participate in design discussions to shape solutions.
  • Support Project Managers with task estimations.
  • Aid Support Teams in resolving escalated issues as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Assist in production deployment processes to ensure smooth releases.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • May have to work in flexible work hours to accommodate global time zones, especially Singapore and India.
  • Travel to customer sites globally as needed.
  • The role is primarily remote (WFH) with occasional travel to office for some events like company gatherings, interviews, and client meetings.
  • Report to the Self-Care Lead in India for project deliverables.

Required Functional Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Full-Stack development with a strong focus on back-end technologies (Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, ReactJS) is a must.
  • Knowledge or Experience of Python is preferred but not a must.
  • Knowledge or Experience of developing IVR is preferred but not a must.
  • Knowledge or Experience of Avaya OD development is preferred but not a must.
  • Prior experience with Contact Center projects is a plus.
